They call you back. Every vendor on this list commits to responding within 48 hours.

Fair market pricing. No inflated bids because you came from a referral. Get a second quote if you want one, and I'd expect these to hold up.

If any of that stops being true, they come off the list. I run a two-strike policy: one complaint and I investigate, and if it's significant the vendor is removed right away. A second complaint, regardless of the situation, and they're off. If you have a problem with anyone here, tell me. That's how this list stays worth using. Good experience? I want to hear that too.
